Question Is there a UK Lotto Database Checker Program

    Hello

Yes I know the Lotto website can check back upto 180 days worth of draws.

Is there any other way of checking though from the very 1st draw to the present ?

Is there any home computer software that can do this - many claim to but don't.

I'd be interested to know if anyone has any answers.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

In case you want to check draws older than 180 days you can try to google "uk lotto mersey", goto "Winning numbers" and further down you'll find "All winning numbers..". You can download all the past draws, from the very first on 19 Novenber 1994. You have various options to view them as text, formatted text, etc., in ascending order or as they were drawn, unexpired, a specific year or all years.

If you choose to view and then download them (Save As...) text, you can can then open the text file in Exel (with "comma" as separators) and you know the rest.

The best site I know of is:

    Google 'Merseyworld' plus 'Lotto'

You should find much more than you need at the site.

I think you will have to put it in Spreadsheet format and add Auto filters then you can look for anything you want. Hope this helps.

Thanks billyboy. Although I'm rather familiar with spreadsheets (Exel), I haven't the foggiest about auto filters. Could you give me more info or give me a nudge in the direction?

Hi I am using Neo Office, the filters are in the data files at the top of the sheet, they are in the Menu bar at the top of the sheet open all the Menu's and will find the filters, I was using Excel at one time found it very good but I am now using a Mac with the Neo Office, put headers on the top for instance with 1,2,3,4,5,6, all in separate cells if you use the 49 numbers as headers you can search for anything you wish, and then you can see what numbers come out with each other etc,. hope this helps you.

Uk National Lotto used to give all history I have not been on there for a long time and downloaded the history , copy and paste to a spreadsheet then use filters to find what you want. Hope this helps.

    Thanks billybouy,

I'll see what I can do in Exel. Any software I might be able to use other than spreadsheets? (preferably freeware) I have heard of some soft using lotto skips (whatever they may be). I got to a site but I couldn't download anything as it's no longer freeware. Other ways of selecting a pool of numbers to play? I'd be more interested in generating combinations starting from a selection of numbers rather than random generators. Random against random doesn't really sound good.

    Hi martor54,
I think you are talking about wheels most software programs do wheels, most people I know use spreadsheets and try to put something together themselves some with no success, try and open the file I have sent you in Excell, its in Neo Office format which is Open Source, any questions just ask.
