    Hi billibuoy,

OK, you're an emerging star! I've never managed 4/6 out of 15. That is why I concentrate on ways to optimize things before/during processing. It is only recently that I'm trying to take on forecasting..

I'm no spring chicken myself, so, we are probably scoring equal. Revelation, partial as it is, came over me at about 3 AM this morning when I got what the filter on column E was. Thanks.

A permutation developer is no problem at all. I've already made something thet does the following: it makes all the possible combinations and then you can choose to apply/not apply various filters. For example, let's take odd/even numbers per combination. You have 7 possible situations, that is, 0(odd)/6(even), 1/5, 2/4,...,6/0. You can choose to play as many of these configurations as you want or skip them altogether (leave them as they came out from the churner. It can also give you percentages over the whole database you may have so that you may have an idea of what to go for. This way, from a large initial list you are left with 10-15 times and even less combinations, depending on the "width" of your filters. In the above exaample, if you only choose to play 1 of the 7 options, the next list created will be smaller than the one generated when you play 2 of those options.

Until then, I could do the processing for you free of charge, of course.

Hi Billybouy / Martor If you are requiring anything developing or automating I would be happy to give it a shot, I enjoy the challenge. I tend to work on macs most of the time so whatever i do would be compliant with both platforms.

    Hi Stats Junkie,

Thanks for the offer. I've developed my own software using QBasic wich I find very good for churning numbers. It does wheeling and filtering. I'm not working with random generation and I'm not good with forecasting. Unfortunately, I work with PC's. Perhaps, in the future.

    Thanks again,

    Regards,

Hi martor54 have you filtered the 8 in column E that should be a good bet, with only 16 numbers that would fit into your program and give you a good return.
    Good luck,
    billybouy..

    Hi billibuoy,

I'm back to the drawing board to see what I can come up with. Good idea the one you suggested. Even better with three groups or even four.

    Regards,
