There has been no response to my inquiry. I will try a different angle.
I assume there must be many office syndicates out there but they are not interested in allowing outsiders to join. There are many good reasons for this rule. Just to list a few:
- do not trust strangers
- do not want the hassle of transferring money
- do not want the hassle of currency exchange
- want to keep the group restricted to workers and friends
So I offer a different approach. Naturally, as per my previous post on this topic, I am interested in joining lottery syndicates. Therefore it should come as no surprise that I belong to a number of syndicates already that play the Canadian lotteries and one that plays the Mega Millions in the US. I like to cover all the bases.
Here is the pitch. It someone would let me in on their UK or Euro Millions syndicate, they can then also join one of my syndicates. We can work out the cost to make it even so that no money has to change hands, unless of course one of the syndicates wins big time.
I welcome comments for and against this idea even if you do not have a syndicate offer to make.
Thanks.
