The ultimate lottery system.
if you get all 6 main lottery balls in the lottery for that you hit the jackpot. Lets say instead of picking six numbers you now only have to pick 3 numbers from 1-9, and you have to get them in order, the same as on dreamnumbers. with whitch you now hit the jackpot. How much money would you be willing to pay, for such a system if it existed ? |

Depends how big the jackpot is! Suppose same amount as normal lottery as long as jackpot was in proportion.

Although not the best at maths i would say you are right. 700 combinations plus change. Assuming you are only drawing three balls. If you were still drawing 6 the odds would be even less...i think.
That doesnt leave you much room for a big jackpot and thats really why people play the lottery. We know we dont stand a chance in hell but if it ever does come out our life is changed forever. Then again the Irish lottery still seems quite popular and that is a similar type where you can select a certain number of balls to come out and go for smaller £500ish payouts. I would say the same amount as the irish lotto. Quid a go.

5 numbers instead of 6? lucky....that has better odds than australia, or other countries like that, since they have 6 balls. but I'm assm=uming 6 balls with less balls in them, so it should still be about the same...

yes, here in the Philippines, we have that kind of game. the winning prize amount is smaller than the 6/49 lotto draw.

Not sure if there is such a thing as an ultimate lottery system? The more tickets you have for less cost, the better (which is why i'm trying a syndicate)
I liked a tv show that was on called "The Big Call (i think)" which gave the winner a choice between £20,000 or 100000 lottery tickets iirc. Which would you go for.. at the end of the day you either strike lucky or you don't? |
