Why play the UK national lottery extra??

This has annoyed me for sometime, and I honestly can't find a logical answer to it, hence, i'm appealing to anyone who plays it!!

I just can't understand why anyone would play it.

It costs the same to play as Lotto.
There are no small prizes.
The JP is often less than the main Lotto.
There is an equal chance of winning the JP.

Simply, why play Lotto extra instead of the normal Lotto??

never worked out why either to be honest, the reason i think some people play is they just copy their usual numbers for extra "just in case" which is probably the worst gamble in the history of the world, the only time its even worth playing extra is if the jp rolled over to 1,400,000,000,000 giving you slighter better value for your quid lol

dont do it never will unless it hits a high figure like the euro lottery, i only play them noww when they roll over a few times

I would just love to know the thinking behind the concept of this. There are so many things they could do to improve the lottery game.

How about, if you get 2 numbers correct, then you get a free game next week??
