Consecutive numbers?

Silly question perhaps, but if I have 3 out of 6 numbers correct, should they be in consecutive order, or can it be like 3-15-33-24-39-42 where I have numbers 3, 15 and 42 correct? Thank you!

Thank you Mango, it is the Dutch lottery, but that should not make any difference...

I think that the probability of consecutive numbers is very low, you should look at past numbers tables and try some lottery wheels sites, and they will help you understand more.
