How often do you play the Lotto? It's usually once a week for me, though sometimes on Wed. if I feel upto it. Hows about you?

I don't play the lotto but wish luck to all who do play it! You hear about that cleaning lady who won like 200 million recently on lotto?

Didn't hear about the cleaning lady, but there are quite a few interesting and ironic lotto stories. For example, I was in a taxi the other day, and my driver, as a muslim himself, suggested that the reason the first big UK lotto winner was a muslim was so that Allah could make an example of him. He was thrown out of his mosque, and lost all respect from his friends and family, his wife left him, etc.

I thought that this sounded perhaps slightly harsh, and it left me wondering whether or not you can really place lotto in the same category as general gambling. It's only £1 a ticket, gives lots of money to good causes, and the way I see it it's simply a bit of fun. Interested in hearing others opinions though.

I have been on a lotto subscription since 18 (and that was MANY years ago) on the same set of numbers and yet to wait for my big win one day. LOL!

i dont play either but i recently heard about the cleaning lady on the news. some people are really lucky, but some spend all their lives playing it but dont win much.

LOL! I won't tell you that. :D But they are made up of numbers of special meaning to me, including (okay I'll tell you ONE) 6 which is my lucky number. ;)

Here in New Zealand, the top payout is far too crappy to warrant purchasing a ticket.

Personally, I'd rather invest my money in a domain name each week Much better odds of a return

i play it once a week but i never had any prize i always lost the i am now playing bets on football i think betting is more moneyfull

Ive been playing once a week in the UK since it started and Ive only ever won 10 once. Can anybody beat that for being unlucky. I still have the hope that my time will come one day.
