Hi everyone, I'm joining forums this morning to see if anyone can advise me of something you can play that doesn't break the bank, take ages to play, and in which you might win a decent prize! As far as I can see this doesn't exist!

Lottery chances are awful, theres a new site called Geosweep the "unlottery" but from what I can tell they have dropped their daily guaranteed prize cos its not a great idea. Its kinda like a raffle-a raffle you have no chance of winning! And they keep emailing me taking the mick out of current affairs-like trying to be pally to get me to go have a punt with them! Its basically just google maps downloaded and you buy a square n if it gets pulled you win a prize. Unimaginative!

Maybe Im being picky?!

Oh well, best stick to long drawn our poker games!

Yeh, I agree. Those postcode lottery things are pretty dumb. How can they claim to not be a lottery.

My girlfriend is into those 'skillgame' sites where you play stuff like deal or no deal for cash. Much better chance of winning but you don't win that much.

I was also getting those over-friendly emails from geosweep. Had quite the opposite effect on me and they are now blocked.

I've got 5 geo's myself, with a daily chance of winning something instead of weekly. The unlottery still gives better value for money with better odds of winning than the regular lottery.

I totall agree with you all, lottery is such a slim chance to win, around 1:100,000,000. You have to play statistically for about 10 million years to win. Also, the lotteries keep 50% of the money coming in!

I also have thought about bookies but it seemed that although the chances are better, I may actually spend more money with them. Even in a win, it does not really give a "dream come true" feeling.
