Is the following a genius strategy, or is it flawed?

On roullette, bet one unit on red. if you win, start at the beginning.
If you lose, bet 2 on red. Lose that, bet 4 on red. Lose that, bet 8 on red. And so on until you win one. As long as you have enough money to stat with, surely this system cannot fail to win!?
I know winning on roullette is difficult because of the existence of the green 0, but in this case, I really do not know how the system can fail. Anyone see any flaws in it?

I use this system at times, but it is not fool proof becasue if the table has a limit of say $500.00 and say you may be betting on red, black can come up over 10 times in a row, don't believe me keep playing....

Ive heard the same but I guess it also swings on how big your "cojones" are....if you loose 10 in a row...how confident do you feel about betting big again?? The moment you quit...you loose...but how deep is your pocket??

The system really works in theory but not in practice because you will need too much money to cover a long losing streak... The problem is you don't know when it's coming. And casinos always cap your bets and usually don't allow doubling.

I've tried this a few years back. It worked for a while but in the end I lost about 7 times in a row and decided to call it quits. You need big balls and a big bank balance.

Experts advice are just there easy to find but keep in mind that not all advice always means good. Although drawing numbers is a random act, there could always be trends in the numbers drawn from a roulette game.

You should choose for European roulette to other variations and practice online for free before playing roulette for real money.

Since you are new to online roulette game, you should choose a free play game, there are more than a few great ways to test your gaming skills before jumping into more risky and betting on them.
