I got about 8 on my first parse, then they kept slowly coming to me. So I wouldn't give up too quick. Damn frustrating tho.

I suspect these are the easy ones

make that 12....how did i miss 15, 26 & 28?

Of the remaining ones 3,12,13,22,30,31,35,37 and 44 are bugging me in particular - I feel I know them but just can't place them - yet.

3 - is a modern remake of a very old classic

12 - Has a really big cast, 1 word 4 letters.

13 - Black a white comedy from the 90's, a sequel to this film was recently made

22 - Not obvious from the clue I don't think, I didn't get this one. Hitchcock.

30 - This was one of the first ones I got. 2 words, J is the first letter of the first word.

31 - Kinda parental.

35 - Polanski film.

37 - Saved by the bell.
