Default Short film reccomendation thread

I like em boss.

I wanna start with this one. I have some more to add, but I think this is my starting point. Really enjoyable movie imo.

i'd like to say what this is about, but it explains it better than me. so i won't.

You must have some eh. Pls be posting in this thread with short (less then 10 mins) movies, or films if ur english, which one might enjoy. A little bit of text about the film too if you can be arsed/say more than i managed! would be nice.

OK haven't watched yours yet. Will get on it in a while. I might be able to add to this thread later but the very first thing that came to mind was The Parlor. I'm not sure if I showed you this before; I recollect somebody telling me it was rubbish, but I think this is one of the best things I've ever seen on the internet. Just amazing IMO.

Oh yeah, and also, Pancake Mines. Somebody posted this on the meetup site for some reason, but I think it's pretty great and have watched it a lot.

More: I liked it, but I feel like there was more to it which I didn't get, and I don't want to watch it again to properly get it, not because it's shit, but because it shouldn't be watched twice in a row. Plus I'm a little bit cynical of cynics: I'm not a big fan of emo-style statements about the pointlessness and aimlessness of life. We don't live in 1984. The world is great IMO. For those that don't like it, suicide should be the first option, not pessimistic "art" and elitist clap-trap (Sartre, Nietzsche). Maybe I'm over-reacting here, and that film could just be about some alternate reality and not a metaphor for the actual world, but still...I'm sick of the stuff I have mentioned in this paragraph.

Tube Poker- I remember watching this when you linked to it in the poker forum. I thought it was good. It's one of those things where you just can't be quite sure whether it's real or false (well, it becomes more obvious it's false as you go on) like Blair Witch Project and Ghostwatch. I like that sort of thing.
