GTA IV on the PS3 (or XBOX i guess)

I've only ever played the first GTA.

Well i'm about 25 hours into GTA IV (about 35 missions complete) and so far I've really enjoyed it. It's just started getting a bit tougher but it's still a lot of fun. It doesn't really offer anything major new in terms of structure, but some of the more annoying stuff like excersize, eating, territories and traveling miles to get anywhere is gone and the detail of the game is better than previous versions.

I've played PES2008 on the Wii and on the PC with playstation controllers and the PC version is infinitely better. I can't believe they actually marketed the wii version as being a better playing experience as I found it just terrible. Plus you can't get up-to-date option files made by very sad but dedicated people who live on the internet.

I'm hoping for GTAIV to be released on the PC. I suspect it'll be out before Christmas and I can wait that long. From what I've heard it's pretty good, but I haven't heard a really good synopsis of what sort of stuff is actually on it.

I think the Wii has failed to deliver any good games which really make good use of how the user interacts with it. Granted I haven't played many Wii games, but Wii Sports is still for me the best game out on it, and as the free game that come with the console, that's pretty disappointing.

Aye, Mario Kart is awesome. So is Super Mario Galaxy infact.

But, i'm a lot more of a fan of 2 player games than single player ones.

Mario Galaxy is okay, but would be better on a different platform. You get super thumb ache from the wii controller and it doesn't really make great use of the wand. It's much like SSX on the Wii really, which again would be better on the playstation.

was it true they were bringing out a starwars for the wii? i would of though that would be pretty cool using the controller as a lightsabre!

Ok well i have played GTA4.

The xbox version should be better in the the coming months when downloadable content will be avaiable for it.

When this happens i will cream my pants!

I have to agree with Woody. The game is awesome but there is nothing new it has to offer. Hopefully this download stuff will change that

Ive got GTA4 and the multi player bit is just the best thing ever. In fact ive had it since release day and only done 5 missions lol. Team death match, 4 mates pile into motor and go squash some fools!

Well they removed some stuff. They removed the bicycles and the planes and most of the choppers. The city is also smaller than San Andreas. The story is quite interesting but still doesn't beat Vice City. I think I have a special something in each game.
