So the season of fine weather is nearly upon us and with that comes long sunny days to spend enjoying the sun. Also the season in which I, along with a fair few others I imagine, will be heading out to the golf course to find new ways to infuriate me away from the poker table.
Like everyone my game could be a lot better, but it just so happens we have a low single figure handicapper amongst us. So its in this thread I ask him for advice, tips and tricks for improvement.
Here is my first case study to ask for the Scrotes advice. it's a mate of us all, the legendary 'Gus Mango Fish' down at the driving range putting off the tees. What can you say to him to offer improvement?? Backswing too long? Stance to hunched? Swing to gay? What can he do to improve it?

PS. Raiser, there is no need to tell us you don't like golf. We get it already.
Walking away is easy. The hard part is standing up.
I have a major problem when it comes to golf. I played Thronbury par 3 18 hole in Nov 07 and was the last time i played...
After the 2nd hole i got bored and decided to then bet on everything and anything to keep me intrested!!...
My question whats the best bets to have on the golf course? and i dont mean the standard who ever wins a hole bet etc...
Anyway funny-ish-you-prob-had-to-be-there-story just to give you a rough idea of how i almost lost £150 in one hole here is the story... It was the 18th hole and i gave my mate the odds of 10-1 he couldnt hit the green in one shot... simple you may think! But he had to do it blindfolded... The (almost) spawny bastard hit the ball way right of the green only for it to clip a ground keepers sit down grass cutter and for it to roll towards the flag!!!!!!!!!!! After running the lengh of the hole shaking my head wondering how on earth i managed to lose £150.... we got to the green for the ball to be 3 inches away from the green!!!! THANK FUCK!
Anyway suggestions on more sensible bets would be appreciated! lol
