6daylateaments.
I will go for, from 1 to 5: Pulp Fiction LOTR Trilogy The Matrix Taxi Driver The Departed But TBH I would say only the top two of those films are truly great films and most people have bad tastes if they think any of the top 50 is better than Cable Guy or Goldeneye. Also, Withnail And I. I read the LOTR books first (after the Hobbit) and then the films and prefer the films. The book is just too long with too many names to remember and too many boring bits. It took me like 3 attempts to finish it over about 4 years, starting over each time. I agree that they are the best Book-to-film adaptation I know of. The worst is Nineteen Eighty-Four.

If you are looking for a half decent film at the moment (most current ones are gash) The Bank Job is pretty decent. the advert makes it look really cheesy but its better than it looks.

Bank Job is a great film, 21 is pretty good too, although it follows the typical Vegas Movie style concept.

I'd go for pulp fiction, LOTR trilogy, 12 angry men, a clockwork orange and fight club
Although that was pretty spontanious deciding, theres so many fantastic films in that list I'd be quite happy to pick my top 5 randomly |

One night i got really really bored and decided to look for a few online movie sites.
I found these- SurfTheChannel - Home Watch Movies Online For Free Full Movie Downloads QuickSilverScreen - Watch Movies Online Free Whatever you do, don't download the PC lagging Veoh player. You get to watch the latest films absolutely free and they come in all sorts of quality. Be sure to keep away from Youku as its wait ten minutes to buffer 4 mins of film. Also, try and register free of charge as it keeps most if not all pop-up adds away and downloading Firefox will make your online watching much easier. |

Nothing like Surf The Channel for TV shows but to watch movies I wouldn't recommend it. I suggest you rent them or download a torrent for them. Or watch them on PPV like it do. I actually do it for free but that is my secret
