Yeah as long as they pay you first.

The only safe way is to get paid by cheque and wait for it to clear. Paypal isnt safe cos even after the money is paid it can be taken back out of your account.
Personally I wouldnt sell anything to someone from another country and if it is a big ticket item I'd insist on a cheque.
Even cheques can take a long time to process though, I personally would send him an invoice to sign a deceleration of sale, then give him your bank details to do a bacs transfer, THEN once payment is received send him a receipt and keep a copy yourself of the receipt and invoice.
Don't worry about your bank details as there is nothing he can do with them, as long as you give him the right details, Phone your bank for confirmation of what details to give...

I am banned from Paypal because of something like this! LOL
Its very easy to get the money off a card and reverse the whole transaction so you keep the money but paypal are left you chase you.
Also alot of people pay for goods on ebay and ask for you to ship them over really quickly as its for a family members birthday or something. The moment your quick enough to ship the goods over the whole transaction gets reversed and you lose out on your money and the goods!!
