There's a dude on ebay that sells laptops, top of the range pentium 3.2GHz processors, 1GB RAM, DVD-RW etc. £500

Only slight catch is that they are slightly damaged, and when I say damaged he means there is a scratch on the lid that u need a magnifying glass to see (Just like Prowler does to see his shaft).

My girlfriend bought one of these, there's not been any problems with it at all and it runs as a lightening speed.

Shop around, but dont buy from a computer fair, laptops need warranty, because 95% of the time, only the manufacturer can repair the problem, if its hardware that is.

Why not buy from a computer fair? You still get the manufacturers warranty.

I buy laptops day in day out, most laptops these days only come with a 1 yr warranty RTB unless you go for high end e.g. over £700 where you will generally get a 3yr NBD on site warranty.
