It has been discovered that the gambling site JackpotJoy is a major con and manipulating site. As a previous member, and arguing many a time with them, they are nothing more than a con. My objective is to make sure the public are aware of this con and to make thier own minds up.
Sure, you may think i'm a disgruntled ex-member, just wanting to get revenge...but i wish it was just that, instead of the more and more evidence gaining against them.
First of all, they are not regulated...not in UK or in netherlands where they claim to be based, which accrding to thier IP addy, is based in Antilies area of netherlands.
I tried to complain to an official regulatory body in the UK...the Gambling commision, but due to regulations...no gambling site can host thier servers in the UK...this is due to gambling laws. So they are based in Antilies. That's ok...i contacted the netherlands equivalent body for gambling...and they are unaware of the site in thier records, and cannot act upon any information...because of them being based in the Antilies...which is seperate altogether from them.
This brought a bit of suspicion to me, and so i needed to investigate further. They claim to give out, on an average...£1.8 million a day, that's ok...but what glorious non regulated site makes that claim...and still makes a proffit?
They also claim not to accept US members...yet, being owned by a US company and brought by a US person...and accepts a US currency...you tell me, what EU country accepts $?
This combined with the fact...the netherlands gaming commision told me that there is nothing stopping them making thier own rules up, because there is nothing they can do.
And there lots more, some of the latest is...they rented out the Big Brother house...and had formal invitations for tours...lmao
This is not true, because if you look on the channel 4 website...they do not do tours or rent out the BB house.
So my conclusion is...that Jackpot Joy is a huge tax fiddling con...with a means to phishing for your bank details so they can scam you.
I do apologise but i must disagree with you. I am not trying to disrespect you or any partner company in any way, but i have claims and evidence to the contary to prove JackpotJoy is a fraud and a huge con.
Like i said, it is not legally registered with any gambling commision...therefore cannot be regulated on an official scale. In that situation, they can of course make thier own rules up and do as they see fit to any member.
I am not perfect and i do not wish to make claims that i cannot back up, but i have made a few companies aware of this situation and they are reviewing thier situation with jackpotjoy. No reputable company wants to be associated with a scam site.
They are also not secure...as much as they claim to have 40 bit encryption...this can be disputed because thier domain registration claims it is not secure...so who do you believe...an official and highly respected domain registrar...or a scam site? On a further scale...128 bit encryption is the standard for almost any transactions...not 40 bit.
The claims that they give away £1.8 million a day...this is extortionate even for a reputable gambling site...let along one that is trying to con members. Average £43 million a month?...yea right...i dont think so.
My dispute with JackpotJoy arises because of the miss-comunication with thier rules...or so called rules.
I was playing a promotion game, and under the pretences that it was a game anyone could play. While it is true anyone could play it, they failed to point out that only those that were paying to play would ever win a prize.
I merely asked that they could put a " *Subject to terms and conditions " on the logo or promotion graphic....this would cover them against any missguided people thinking they going to win when they wont.
This seemed to lead to the fact they were defensive and started quoting the rules were fine...i wasn't asking to change them...just to make it clear to everyone that not everyone could win if they took part...but nooooo...that was too dificult to comprehend. So i got barred for a few hours.
This to me was not acceptable, as i was merely trying to make a point and get my point accross...so i made a few false accounts to try and get back....this obviously led to further problems...and ultimately has led to this.
So above all, i was misled into believing something that was not true...and this is false advertising....so as much as i broke the rules...so did they...and i will make this very clear to everyone.

I too shall be investigating further as you know...the Antilies are seperate from the Netherlands...and have thier own Goverment...and so are not custom to the regulations and laws of the UK.
So you are not regulated and so therefore a scam. Not to mention you publically announce false info and advertisements.
This is highly unacceptable of any so called reputable company.
As the data protection act only covers security of details and who can obtain access to those details...then it's hardly proof that JackpotJoy is reputable.
Anyone with a website can be registered under the data protection act...so what does that prove?
If JackpotJoy had decided to be reasonable and try and resolve this matter instead of arguing the point...none of this would have happened. Instead, they decided to argue on something that wasn't a problem...till now.
Wow, you mean they want you to pay an entrance fee before you can win a cash prize?!?Originally Posted by Wingus

Thjey were holding a promotion...called Advent Callendar and Santa's Crackers. Great little games and fun to play. I was playing it for ages...about 3 or 4 days...when i was told, i wouldn't be eligible for a prize on either of them, because i was not paying to play.
There was always the free version...which meant...anyone could play it...and you get points if your a non payer...or real money if you pay to play.
So basically...i played for 3 days non stop near enough...to find out i was being duped into thinking i might just win a prize.....when i was in fact not even eligible.
I was annoyed at this...and that's why i asked if they could put a disclaimer on thier logo or on that promotion page..and directing customers to the rules of that promotion.
But instead of dealing with this matter, i got banned for the first time...then as i got back and tried to resolve this issue...i got totally suspended.
This has ultimately led to all sorts of arguements and accusations...and now some disturbing evidence that channel 4 and endemol productions outrightly deny so far. This is also proving interesting news to the national media.
I thank you Danny C for your post, and sorry it been so long, but i'm more and more trying to make this matter exposed for what it really is.Originally Posted by DannyC
First of all, your right..hosted in antilies...which i already covered.
Second, if you complain to JackpotJoy..it goes to JackpotJoy..and no further..as Gamesys and JJ are the same bloody company, most probally this is part of it as well, but that not my problem.
My problem is finding out who the regulatory body is that governs this site. I'm not interested in the data protection office in London thank you..that is the Information Commisioners Office problem...and that is a regulatory body in the UK that governs the data protection act 1998.
I contacted the UK official body..the Gambling commision..and they are aware of you..but can do nothing as you are not located in the UK. Nor can the Netherlands equivalent...as the Antilies area is totally seperate from them.
I WILL find out who regulates you..and if you are not regulated..then you are a con..and i want you to remove your junk off my msn, internet provider and e-mail partners.
ok, after some investigating, it appears they ARE evidentally regulated, its just a long throw.
This is what i found when i dug deep enough...
And it also apparently is regulated by UK gambling laws, but no actual company to regulate it, but while saying this, UKGL's will pass if they are passed in another country, as theyre T&C's state where it was originally regulated. These promotions are brought to you by Profitable Play N.V. Profitable Play N.V. is regulated under official gaming license number 8048/JAZ, granted by the sovereign Government of the Netherlands Antilles. See T's & C's for more information.
A BIG company like this, will have regulation policies, and if you ever come across a website/casino/paymoney site that doesnt show a regulation symbol or state it in their T&C's then the law will probably frown on YOU for not researching before paying.
My grandma could setup a JJ website (if she could program) and there is no law against it, you could be simply providing a 'service' rather than a 'could-win service'
