Especially now we've had Mclaren inflicted upon us. McLaren = worse than Sven.

I dont think any of you's have really got my point, its probably my fault for giving the thread a bit of general title, what i mean is the experience of going to a match the atmosphere, i have already said the standard of football is still great and almost certainly better, i just mean football grounds are like libaries these days, i dont think the ones who have replied know where im comming from so it dont matter

I have to disagree with this. What are you basing this statement on? Who said everyone from Teesside is poor? Every county has deprived areas not just Teesside.

Well in my opinion, and it is just my opinion you are going to match for the wrong reasons. You are implying the you go to the football match for an atmosphere and to have a good sing song not to watch people play football. I'll be there today and to be honest I couldn't care less who sings and who doesn't, i'm there to watch people play football, if I wanted an atmosphere I'd hit Albert Road at 10:00pm. In fact, maybe if we are all quiet enough we can here what the ref is saying to the players...now that would be interesting.

If you want to just "watch the football", it is far better to watch on tv with replays commentry etc. The whole point of going to the stadium is the atmosphere, that coupled with sayin "I was there"
