CS/CSS were complete flops, a big addiction for the yanks though which is why its one of the most played games.

well the reason i got it was because i have an american gf who is into it.

i have got into it as well though, source is amazing, and so i hl2, but as of yet havent had the chance to play due to lack of ram.

i hope to god you dont play wow

Not a big game fan so dont play any of the mentioned games..

I did however get hooked on Tomb Raider: Legend and PREY..

I am patiently waiting for Timeshift which looks fuckin' badass and Command and Conquer 3.

as for needing ram.. even some of the latest games test my PC so I wouldnt upgrade too high to be honest now... Id wait for DirectX 10 cards or cards with PhysX built in cus frankly most the current gaming engines (Doom/Quake, Half Life and Unreal) run pretty sweet on something like a 6800+ with a decent cpu... Id guess about 80% of all current games use one of the those engines.

My pc is a dual core 4500 cpu with a 7800GTX on Win XP x64 pro and it runs pretty sweet yes but stuff like F.E.A.R and new HDR HL2 mods can batter my system at times...

well i have a bad bad bad sony vaio with pci motherboard!!!

its 1800+ amd x 1.53 ghx.

put a direct 9x graphics card in there recently and now hl and cs will work.

just need to upgrade them for cs:source and hl2 to work.

prey looks like a good game though, the missus wants it but it just wont work!!!

Not played for a long time, but counter strike, red faction and quake as well as soldier of fortune i would play daily. Even castle wolfenstein wasnt to bad.
Gamespy use to be great for multi player maps etc etc and probally still is.

i used to play quake all the time until i got my xbox online then i played ghost recon permanently, in fact poker is the only reason i aint up all night on my 360 anymore!!
