I have to admitt that I only watched extra time as I slept through the whole match (too many beers) and haven't seen the Rooney incident. England are terrible at penalties, and apparantly they have been pracitising for ages on them and only Hargreaves scored!!!!

Totally agree. Ugly, bucktoothed fucking gimp! Wont be long as the talentles wanker with the biggest attitude problem in tennis is on borrowed time if his tour record to date is anything to go by. Does well one mintue then fucking shit the next.

Best player of the match= Hargreaves
Best English player of the tournament = David Beckham BY FAR.

Anyone who thinks Beckham doesn't deserve his place in the squad is absolutely incompetent. He's basically scored or set up 80% of England's goals in the last year. His goal (yes his goal) gave us 3 points against Paraguay, his cross gave us 3 points against T&T, his goal put us into the quarter finals. In my opinion Stevie G is the best English player but he was really disappointing in the World Cup (even though he scored twice). Frank Lampard was even worse. Going into the tournament I think we would've said that centre midfield was our best position but it turned out to be the worst, and we deserve to be out.

Well, we were better than Portugal even with 10 vs. 11, so they deserve a semi-final place less than us, but I think both teams would/will lose to France who were amazing against Brazil.

Rooney- I don't blame him, he did nothing morally wrong but just hasn't got the conventions right yet. I don't think the "stamp" on Carvalho was intentional. The push on Ronaldo wasn't even aggressive. It looked more like he was saying or expressing "don't say that Cristiano! Why are you doing this??" if you looked at his face. It looked like he felt quite betrayed. Not a red card in any case, just a yellow at most.

Ronaldo- amazing player but what a turncoat! Good penalty though the cocky bastard.

Our penalty-takers (except Hargreaves)- they didn't look very confident. I actually thought we'd be favourites going into the shootout. Ricardo is freakily amazing. I can't blame the kickers too much. If you saw Germany's shootout Gerrard took his exactly like Ballack's, and the others weren't too dissimilar, and they hailed Ballack's goal as a good one.

I say Germany vs France for the final, and from there let the best team win, even if it's Germany.

Also Lennon = but I'd prefer to play Beckham there.
