    Default Long term roulette

OK – I’m a bit of a newbie so please excuse my grammar.

I hope you enjoy my saga – who knows maybe some of you have had a similar ride.

About 18 months ago I had a good win at my local casino – playing roulette, I was up about ₤1000. I wasn’t too sure what to do with my winnings so after a bit of research I bought a roulette system off the internet.
Now I know most people will think I’m a little crazy – well I probably am, but in my defence I’ve been playing for a good few years & I thought it would be a challenge – what could be better than ‘beating the house’.
So it took me a while to get up to speed with the system but after a few sessions I started to pick it up quite well. I started playing at the 50p (or the equivalent in local currency) table with ₤200 kitty & I keep a fairly decent set of records to see if I’m up or down. Within 2 months I’d won ₤2000 & I’m starting to get carried away thinking I’m going to stop work & just pop into the casino to top up my bank account. Well just as I’d worked my way up to the ₤1 table I hit a loosing streak & I’m back to my original ₤200 kitty.
Well by now this thing has got me intrigued so I start again but using a more gradual increase in bets. Over the next 12 months I slowly start gaining – I have a few losses some big some small but each month my kitty is growing – I even make a graph on an Excel spread sheet & it looks like a stockbrokers dream come true. Before I know it I’m up to ₤9000 & if reckon if I can get up to ₤10000 then I’m going to take a trip to ever gamblers dream destination – yes a trip to Vegas. Now by this time I’m playing in the Salon Privy where the table has a ₤5 minimum & I’m feeling like James Bond.
Of course the inevitable happened & I started to lose – my previous worst loss had been 3 lost sessions in a row, now I hit 8 losses out of 12 sessions & my kitty is down to ₤6000.
So now I’m thinking I could lose all of this & not ever get to Vegas so I take a break from gambling & mull it over. In the end I take half the money & I blow it – I take two holidays down to the coast, I give my kids a wad of cash that makes their eyes go big, I buy the misses a bottle of Channel number 5 perfume & best of all I have enough for a deposit on a Triumph Thunderbird motorbike (it’s the best looking bike I’ve ever seen). I even blow ₤300 on a gambling competition (a triathlon) where I play roulette, blackjack & slots – I came 18th out of 33 players, a real blast, I even get to sit next to some famous boxer at the prize giving banquet.
I’ve started playing again with what’s lest of my kitty but my loosing streak has continued & I’m down to ₤1000 but I’m fairly well disciplined so I’ve made up my mind that I won’t use my own money to continue if my winnings finally runs out.

Does anyone else have roller coaster stories to tell?

great story!!! nice to hear someones actually winning on the 'devils wheel', and smart enough to use some of the cash wisely instead of giving it all straight back, if you do go to vegas eventually dont expect the system to work so well as they have an extra 00 on their wheel which kills your percentage but good luck in your quest to beat the house!!
