Am i sad for saving for one of these? Im less than 50 chips away from getting one. Has anyone else got one yet?

Do you actually play poker?

I know a couple of ex-players who have turned to the deck and are doing very well.

Can become quite addictive mind as there is no definitive time to stop when you are playing sit and go tournaments.

True but when you can keep adding chips to your stack and players are sitting and standing continuously without any increase in the blinds many players can go on playing for hours on end. Plus there is often a long list of other tables to join in so it's hard to walk away.

This is in comparison with machines, where you can only play each machine once every few days and unless you are prepared to drive around the country, you will only have a set number of machines to play.

Yeah been playing for a while online but not managed to play any offline games yet (except with mates). Can be addictive but then so can machines for some people depends what your like

I seem to be finding i play a lot better when i don't have so much cash, when i have more to waste i seem to, well........... waste it

I came home the other day and my wife had dedicated our spare room to me as a gambling room woohoo.

Roulette table, Poker, Craps, Sic Bo and a few others. Darts in there too, not enough room for a snooker table :/

Gonna get a FMF, Cash Attack and BFU put in there next week I think, should finish it off, btw, Mini-Bar contained in there too
