    Q: What is a planet?
A: A body of earth surrounded by sky.

This statement is true, as we ourselves as humans percieve a planet as a sphere shaped object, and obviously comparing it to our own natural planet - earth - which could be constured is mud, soil etc... in our language - and above us is only sky, white and blue, we dont see space or anything... Therefore the above statement seems completely reasonable.
