One of my friends is addicted to gambling. He places many bets on every game, and every casino and lose every times so how to stop him to gamble.

SImply, stop playing. If you can't stop on your own, talk to a counsellor, friend, church minister, or doctor as a starting point. You can be referred to specialist health programmes to help you stop, or given medication in some cases. Or just talking will sometimes take the heat out - talk to 0800 GAMCARE if in the UK.
