Hi all,
Started going to Casino's about 1 yr ago and enjoy the odd flutter like most folk. I generally leave down, but like the buz.
I went to a different casino the other night and joined as a new member. After about 30 minutes of playing black jack (where I was winning and losing small amounts upto £5 £10 pounds a time) I was asked to leave the premises with no explanation.
I laughed it off the following morning. A few days later I went to my usual casion which I visit once/twice a month. They told me a 'national bar' had been placed on me which meant they couldn't let me in.
I guess this now means I can't enter any casino in the UK which I think is outrageous considering I haven't done anything. I tried contacting the Casino directly who wouldn't tell me anything. They suggested I write to the Casino director who hasn't replied either.
Does anyone know what I can do here ? I can't believe someone has the power to ban me from all Casions across the UK. Is there some governing body that controls this ? I feel i've beem very unfairly treated.
cheers,![]()
If you have a complaint against a UK casino, then get in touch with The Gambling Commission. They regulate all UK casinos and they have lists of all barred persons & why they are barred. They should be able to help you.
Johnny's Amusements @ 114 Gorgie Road in Edinburgh is the only arcade in the UK to feature a dedicated Retro Section.

Many years ago I had my casino membership cancelled a day after I won about £18,000 in a single hand of Caribbean Stud poker with 4-of-a-kind and a huge ante bet. I guess they didn't like lucky punters; but what they failed to appreciate was that I lost more than I won over the years that I had frequented their establishment.
The casino has changed management and I went back only for a few times; my luck has not been the same there.
I think casinos have the prerogatives to banned players if they choose to.
Yes, the management reserves the right to refuse entry....
I always felt they have a small-timer mentality, they would record every member who pockets £1k chips.
There was another occasion when I was the only player on a Carribbean Stud poker table and was winning, the inspector came over to whisper some instructions to the dealer. From then on, the dealer deviated from his normal method of shuffling and slicing the deck (I think there was no shuffling machine at that time), in fact, he would spread the cards on the table and gave them a good mixing (as they would do for a new deck) before each and every deal! It took a few minutes just to play one hand. They blatantly attempted to break my winning streak.
However, I wasn't banned from all other casinos, so I simply moved to others.
read their terms and conditions of use again. Perhaps you didn't follow a certain rule without you noticing it and accidentally break the rules. Too bad! but why the hell have you been banned on all? tsk! maybe you breaking some rules accidentally has been spread? he he!
Can you ask them why you have been banned?
The greatest advantage in gambling lies in not playing at all.
I think you should try online casino
maybe a relative or family member puts or requested the ban on you. here in our place even as old as 40, sometimes the parent still puts the ban on their son, fearing that he might squander away the family business which he inherited from them. or the wife fearing he might lose away all the family livelihood.
