Do you prefer having a real live dealer or playing online?

Suppose I'm just curious because I am a dealer, but the few times I have been to casinos I prefer the roulette pods!!

Real casino play is good for the atmosphere and entertainment, but if you're playing to win you can't beat online casinos IMHO.

The main thing is the speed of the game-play; when I used to go regularly to B&Ms I would get SOOOOOOO bleedin frustrated, not only with the physical reasons that play is slower (shuffling cards, fiddling with Roulette chips, etc.), but also with some other players who "faff around" and take ages to make simple decisions.
Playing roulette with 2-3 minutes between spins used to do my head in!

i think not alll online casinos are all the same like what you think.. just be observant and read the reviews of a certain casino before spending some money for that.

I prefer to play poker online, i tried first to play poker for free to enhance my poker skill before playing to the real money so i can be prepared enough, having a strategies and enough skills to beat others.

I like the see the face of my opponent as well as the dealer so i'll prefer playing in a real table. Although some of them project a "poker faces" including the dealer, the ambiance of playing with a real people beside you is somewhat intense than playing in front of your PC.

I also prefer playing online. the ambiance on the live casinos are somewhat frustrating that sometimes make your mood a bit bad, unlike if you play online, comfortable and convenient. Also you have better odds at an online casino. As strange as it might seem, online casinos often offer better odds for the player than land based casinos.

Not really that strange; online casino's overheads are a tiny fraction of land-based.
All they need is a small office, a few powerful computers & a handful of staff.
I can't even begin to list the expenses a land-based casino has!
That's why online casinos can afford to give players generous promotions and have games with much lower house-edge than their bricks-and-mortar counterparts...

I am focused when i played at online casino rather than at live. I remember when i played at the live poker tourneys -crowded, a lot of noises, hard to bluff and you don't have the chance to go to another table to play. unlike at online casino, you can play at any poker seat at the same time.
