    Default Best advise when gambling

    Hi Guys,

I think it is time that everyone forgot the "can't lose systems" out there. The best advice that I ever got was to set a budget.... stick to it. Leave when you have reached the end of the money. I know that is obvious, but some people think that they are on the verge just as the money is starting to end.. how many times have you thought that, played on and won a hugh amount of money????? Biggest thing to learn.. there is always tomorrow.
    Thanks

    Diana

Gambling is impulsive and you lose control, a budget is the best way, take with you the right amount of money for your bets. Have you noticed how bookies place the FOBT machines near the door on your way out or in. Very good!

Yes, there is always tomorrow but most of the players forget this point and continue playing after winning lots of money. Your advice is good and player must remember your thought when they go for play.

Couldn't agree more. Gambling is entertainment and entertainment costs money. If you are willing to spend a certain amount for a nights entertainment that's fine but trying to buy money with money from gambling is a fools game.

get in and get out quick , dont play for fun, dont get into a routine, if you have a system to play use it, if you have £50 and want to turn it into £500, go to the casino of your choice(im talking online casinos), choose the high varience machines like the 9 line video slots on microgaming casinos and go for it, play big, if you lose, well tough luck, win big and walk away..

    Hi,

It is true that while playing you become impulsive and got aggressive too, so you need to keep passions and concentrate on winning this game by applying proper strategies that right at the point.

    Thanks

but still you have to set yourself a budget and, if your winning, a goal... once you reach that goal, leave. DON'T GET GREEDY!!

Yes, i agree, a big thing is alcohol, caffeine, sugar foods and fast food.

As all of these things lead to emotional triggers than can effect a players game.

Bankrolling is one of the most powerful tools that can be used within gambling, i also follow a three tier system that requires a bit of discipline and at times proves my greedy internal demons are still very much alive.

In any one night i play with 20 percent of my bankroll, so out of $300.00 i'll play with only $60.00 at a very pushed maximum, win or lose no more.

This initial 20% ( the $60.00 ) now forms the higher tier, i then divide by three to get my other two tiers.

Tier 1 $60.00 down to $40.00 I use for aggressive and reckless betting plans
Tier 2 $40.00 down to $20.00 I play more carefully with conservative bets and aim to reach tier 1 again.
Tier 3 $20.00 down to $0.00 I play as tight and as cowardly as a nut and aim to reach tier 2.

This has always helped me control the hobby and its costing quite nicely.

Oh forgot one important thing, when i go above Tier 1 i'm in profit, this is where i try to stay.
Experience and dedication count for something more than just winning
