how random is online roulette?

i know there is no system to beat the table but i have used 1 for a couple of days and was actually £350 up after risking £50 initially. i actually lost the whole profit within an hour today after doing so well the last 2 days over a period of about 6 hours.

i stress again that i know that no system works and was not expecting to win all the time but the manner in which i lost all my profit within an hour cant help but get me thinking that online roulette tables are as random as fruit machines. i actually switched table every 10 mins because i thought about this initially but now im just wondering if they track your profit and this affects the outcome. anyone had any similar experiences? just so you know i used a reputable casino.

Did your system require you to double the amount you bet every time you bet or something like that? If so, that could make you a lot of money over a long period, and then make you loose it all in just hours or minutes - they have the edge, and at some point that's gonna hit you.

I don't think the Casinos are 'controlling' the ball to make you loose after a lot of big wins - they simply don't need to, and most casinos are regulated by third parties to make sure their software is fair.

I don't believe the tables to be fully random though - it seems that some smart MIT students have found a way to beat online Roulette (mitroulette.com), and that they somehow exploit the psuedo random number generator.

yeh it was doubling the amount when i lost a bet. never doubled above $64 though and although it happened a few times in the first 2 days i soon got the money i'd lost back. when i lost it all though it happened time after time, maybe i was just very unlucky.

has anyone used that mitroulette? i just looked at the website briefly and it looks as though its a free download if you just enter your e-mail address.

There really is no system, I have looked at a few and made a comment on them on my site, and they can work, but really, there is no guaranteed way of winning every time. The way I work is that i watch to see if there is a pattern, and if there is more than one at a time on each colour i chase the colour that has just come up. This also is not guaranteed to work, but generally, i do ok.

im sure that online roulette is the same as online slots, althought its RNG software it still plays to a percentage, a good example is playing table poker games at 3dice, there software doesnt even try and hide the fact that the casino is playing to a percentage..you cant see it so much on playtech and microgaming casinos but its very obvious at 3dice casino (not bad mouthing this casino because i play slots there and you just have to know how to play), if i had a roulette system i would not try it out in an onlne casino it would have to be in a real land based one
