    Default Quick question

Is the following a genius strategy, or is it flawed?

On roullette, bet one unit on red. if you win, start at the beginning.
If you lose, bet 2 on red. Lose that, bet 4 on red. Lose that, bet 8 on red. And so on until you win one. As long as you have enough money to stat with, surely this system cannot fail to win!?
I know winning on roullette is difficult because of the existence of the green 0, but in this case, I really do not know how the system can fail. Anyone see any flaws in it?

I,ve found this only works well in the live dealer casinos, and waiting for three or four same results before jumping in. However all you need is a freak run of numbers in a row to lose a lump of cash so beware it,s not as good as it looks.
It's like laying a 1000/1 shot , you can win most of the time but when that 1000/1 chance comes in, it puts you at a large negative.
    Good luck
