Hi DrBob, to answer your enquiries:
Tipping of waiters/dealers: It really depends on yourself whether to tip them. If the waiters have been offering good customer service to you, why not? As for dealers, if you happen to win most of the time from that dealer's hands, you can consider giving some tips to him/her and also ask him if he gets a share of the tips given by customers. Some casinos do not give the tips earned to their dealers and supervisors.
Joining of table: It's fine if you will be playing at the table. Don't be like some players, they go to a table, buy in chips with their cash and leave after that. They only pissed people off by slowing down their game.
If you would like to know more information on casino, you can search for my blog guyhengheng. Cheers!

oh haha KK, you got so many chips. give me somehow do you find my blog so far?
The honest answer is I'm not really interested.
I'm sure there's a lot of good stuff in there, but I'm always so busy (including writing stuff for my own sites) that I never sit down & read other people's stuff. There's just not enough hours in the day.
Another honest answer: I have no idea how I got those chips or what they are for!
