Let’s put aside the possibility of winning…by luck, skill (system) or psychic powers, whatever. I don’t want it to be a topic.
I want to talk about land based casinos (big casino operators, to be precise) and their “habit” to keep track of players. A registration, ID cards, 24 hour sign-up period in the UK, cameras….Every regular player is in some kind of database. His gaming history is always up-to-date (or this is paranoia?).
Let’s assume the player is playing by rules but unlike others he wins more than he loses (serious money). And he is doing that long term.
I know BlackJack and card counting has become notorious and considered illegal by casinos (but it seems that CSM is a “cure” for that “disease”).
What about other games? Roulette for example? (There’s no point in counting balls…)
What would casinos do? Would they let him play or would they forbid him to play?
(P.S. English is a foreign language to me so…etc…)
I thought this was a serious forum…I am surprised that administrator allows this kind of …I don’t know what: spamming, stupidity, idiocy or sick obsession with female genitals…
Is there anyone to say something that makes sense?
Casinos are not daft just like your high street bookmaker if someone was winning too often they simply would not be welcome anymore.
Any casino game cannot be beaten legally in the long run so they have nothing to worry about my friend.
The only card game that can be beaten is poker and the fact you play against other players whilst the casino takes a rake proves this point (they let the players fight it out whilst they collect millions in rake)
If you are competeing directly against the casino, there is an edge that is in their favour- it is their business.
I know it is pessimistic but there is no 'what if...' in regards to how a casino would react to a winning player because there are none to worry about.
Of course, bookmakers are completely different. If you win a few bets in a row and show signs you can beat their books ove rthe longterm, they will close your account as they simply don't want you to win...
Casino games can be beaten in the long run. Just only by a very few players. The odds are in the house's favour, but if your cohort is large enough then you'll have someone/people who do well.
From Casinos to Counterterrorism
The easy answer
-SenecaThere is nothing which Fortune does not dare.
-Robert J. AumannIn interactive decision making – games -- you must consider what other people would do if you did something different from what you actually do.
- Napoleon BonaparteThe great general is not he who makes fewest mistakes, but he who can best take advantage of the mistakes of his enemy.
Yeah but we're not talking putting 10 cents in a slot and landing $8,000,000 on a jackpot spin, we're talking about systems and people playing casino games and getting more back in the longterm- grinding out profits, no casino game can be beaten in this way when you compete against the house.
