Default Red and Black betting on roulette table.

If you had thousands of pounds and there was not a minumum or maximum limit on a roulette table, you could be guaranteed profit every day- by sticking with one colour and keeping to it- rolling over every loss until you win.

    £5 on red, win
    £5 on red, lose
    £10 on red, lose
    £20 on red, lose
    £40 on red, lose
    £80 on red, win

After all that, you would be up by £10.

The only problem is that by rolling over losses, the stakes add up quickly, anyone know the record number of the same colour rolling in on a roulette table- every go, the odds are 1/2, but anyone know how many times a certain colour has rolled in?

Ive seen the same colour roll in over 10 times at a casino and i bet there has been more. Also ther IS a max limit so this method may work for a while but i wouldnt advise it.

Depends on the stake you start with i.e. start with say £2 and even if it rolls red 10 times you'd still be within most casino's max bet by the time it does roll a black

Be about as interesting as PTA on "suck" though

Going from Gala where i play i work out you can do 9 bets as the max on the outside is 500

    So

    2 - Lose
    4 - Lose
    8 - Lose
    16 - Lose
    32 - Lose
    64 - Lose
    128 - Lose
    256 - Lose
    512 - over the limit

Of course in one night the table might go for you and you leave with a tiday profit. The it may not and you lose £510. Bit much to risk for £2 each time.

Yeah, but if there was no limit it would be great!

Or how about taking advantage of streaks, if red comes in, bet £2 on red, if you lose, wait for the next one and if it red again, go for red- i'm sure this would be better because although the odds are 1/2, i'm sure it never goes red, black, red, black, red, black, red, black, 10 times?

So do the same as the prior winner and if you lose rollover losses for the next one.

In fact, I mate go and have a go on practise roulette table to see how I get on!

Just lost £200 (practise play ) by going with streaks, but starting with £1, £2, £4, £8, £16, £32, £64, - I couldn't play after this one as only £73 was left in my account to place the next bet at £128, which had I have done, would have won- it would only put me up £1 though- not worth the hassle unless you had the funds, in which case it would be pointless doing in the first place, and you had plenty of time on your hands to do it...

I've seen as much as 18 reds on one roll. This system (Martingale) is hellish. If you want to try it though, here are 2 tips. First, be patient. Don't go into in until you've seen at least 5 or 6 reds in a row ( or blacks). Second, if it doesn't change after another 3 goes...walk. at least you've only lost a small amount. Don't get sucked in to these rolls...it's suicide.

Agreed mate- I later read an article on the Martingale system and eventually you will lose, and lose big!

i have made a fair few thousand using martingale on willhill this was a few years back now though their programming seem to b different now though. Their max bet is 23k on red thats 5k on red and 1k on each red number. i started off with 2k using martingale placing 1st bet of 5 pounds in the 3 months i played i won over 200k i have had to do the 20k spin twice once i won the 2nd i lost and that was when i quit. i lost about 80k back bt was still up over 100k. Its not for the faint hearted but if u got the bottle its very profitable
