Why those numbers?
Depends what they bet on and how rich they are. If thats all they have to last them and they stick it on one or two numbers then thats balls (and stupidity)Originally Posted by likesapunt
But if the guy you saw is well off and was just betting £100 each spin on an evens bet that doesn't take much balls really.
When i go to casion i regulary put £100 on one spin. 10 and 36 by 10
Any time you aggressively play seven deuce off suit, the universe will bend the laws of short term probability in order to re-balance the long term probability abuses by those trashy players who only play premium hands
Why those numbers?
Just the ones ive always chosen no logical reason or "method" just 10 numbers next to each other. 3.6/1 chance of winning.
Once a while ago now i put £100 and won £350 so i kept going until one lost and ended up over a grand up (i may have posted about it here before).
I have decided roulette is not for me now though as it is just luck and the odds are against me so i just don't see the point. I prefer to play poker nowadays.

Never really play much roulette in casinos, was in Sydney about a month ago and played in the big casino there. Started off with $40 bagan to lose then managed to come away with $350 about £150. Was playing groups of 5 e.g 15-20, 1-5 and they where coming in. Realised i was up a not bad amount whilst really pissed at the time and decided to cut my loses. My mate on the other hand lost $200.
I've got a mate who plays them in the bookies while he comes back from the army. I just fail to see the point in them cos not only are the odds against you, but I doubt whether these computer machines are in fact random, they are fixed for you to lose in the long run.Originally Posted by likesapunt
At least with a £25 fruit machine it has a payout percentage and it will payout eventually, but you could be playing roulette forever and never win. Whilst he sticks £20 notes into the roulette machine, I'd just rather stick it on a 2/1 horse or something...
One thing is the same with fruit machines and roulette, if you keep playing over a long period of time you will lose as the odds are against you.

But we on here keep going back on the off chance we can beat the odds and make a profit!

I have actually stopped playing roulette now and tend to play poker a lot more.

Knowing when to stop is the key and not chasing your losses!
Hi
The roulette system for the machines that has been knocking about involves betting on red and black to 'force' the zero. So bet one unit on black and one on red, and one on zero. Use an 'up as you lose' progression on the zero. Or you could just flat bet....if there is REALLY an advantage, there should be no progression needed!
This system was available on a website a few months back for £40, and it seems its now being sold on ebay for £2-£5. So if everyone is desperate to flog it, it probably aint that good!
