Biggest "loss" was on a trip to Vegas for my 40th birthday.
I took with me $7000 just for gambling (1k per day budget)
Without going into pages of details etc I had the best time ever and came back with 4k
So I could say the loss was 3k but the room was not charged we were comped pretty much for all our meals and we never paid for a drink .
For the week we had I reckon 3k was good value but I spose technically it was a loss lol

On roulette he was playing red (it had been black 16 in a row when he made his first bet) and doubling his bets each time. Which is a valid strategy if; the casino don’t object, you have the bankroll to hold out and you don’t hit the table limit. He got stung by the later.

On poker he sat down at a cash table where the average stack was over £20K. So the players had to pretty much be whales or sharks. Thar she blows!
TBH I think he was getting better odds of success from the roulette wheel.
