Could we do this on paying say a set amount of vchips for the password.
We have a few members on the forum now but struggle to hit the 10 needed to get this running!!
Maybe 50 posts is too much

Promise Her Anything, But Give Her Walty
50 is a good number imo.
IMO if you're gonna lower the posts required you should bring back the $10-20 buy-in value added tourneys otherwise too many donks will register and post "I agree" and what not just to play the freerolls!
Or make it that if you want to play the freerolls you have to have deposited so at least you're making money out of new sign ups!![]()
Another idea I thought of which could keep people interested would be to have a buy-in tourney each week and instead of adding value to that prize pool, at the end of the season put it all in one tournament and say the top 10 play with the whole lot as a prize pool with the person who finishses 1st in the league starting with the most chips and so on down to 10th. (Not sure if that's possible to do though).
Could even not pay any out weekly or just pay half weekly and put half into the final prize pool to make it that bit more juicy.
Just an idea anyway that might keep people interested right till the end, though if the person who finishes 10th won all the money it might be a bit crap.... thoughts anyone?!
Bring back the $2 rebuys. Try a heads up tourny see if that works, not sure if it would get 16 players though.
Citrus' idea is pretty good. It would either mean everybody plays every game, or not many people play each game, I don't know which yet. If there were $1500 in the final tournament, you could pay something like, 475, 265, 170, 135, 115, 95, 80, 65, 55, 45

I haven't played for a couple of seasons as I struggle to make a start time of 8.00pm.
Dunno whether changing the start time to 9.00 - 9.30pm would enable more people to play.
I know most of us have to work i the morning but most of the tournies I played in only took 2 hours at the most.
I like Citrus' idea of moving some of the value-added to a 'season finale', and having to qualify to play - depending on numbers attracted could restrict to top 8 + week winners?
Citrus' idea is good, although I think it would be hard to make it work in practice.
I spose a 'portion' of the pool could be held back for an end of season game to beef it up. A set number of games played would have to be enforced though right? say 7 or 8 of the 10.
Another idea:
Seeing as the field consists of about 10-13 of us(usually from week to week), the top 5 finishers could play a short handed end of season game. Thsi would be an incentive to finish high up and not just play one game of the season and be automatically in the final. Thoughts?
Failing all other ideas, bring back $10-$20 buyins and $2 rebuy spasmatron games (they were a right larf although not much poker was played lol)!!
