Seems a good idea. We're struggling to make the 10 these days, and poor botherer was quite pissed off a couple of weeks ago when he didn't notice the qualification level had gone up and he'd just battled to 2nd place for nothing.
would it be frowned upon if I posted another 23 bleah posts in the next 10 mins? lol
I reckon Matt has effectively stated that Steve can play with his 26 posts, and we need extra players anyway, so I am in favour of you registering, not that I have any authority on it, but I'm guessing everyone would agree with me.

can someone text me the password then?
OK I sort of had a motive to get this game going because I have come up with an elaborate dice strategy to play with, which took me about 5 minutes.
The way I play will be partially dependent upon the dice and partially on the quality of my hand. Here is the PRE-FLOP strategy.
I will take the number of the hand on the far left corresponding to the hand value itself. Then I will add that number to the number I get from rolling a 12-sided die (1-12), and finally add 3. The smallest value I will have will be 5, the largest 31.
Then for position:
Early position -5 (this means BB as well. SB I will play by ear, usually completing with trash)
Middle position -3
Late position -1
I will then have a number between 0 and 30.
Then I will act according to the following schema:
Fold 0-12
Limp 13-16
Raise/call small raise 16-18
Re-raise/ call big raise 19+
This means the worst hand I might go all in pre-flop with will be 55-K7s in late position, (if I roll a 12), but typically I think the strategy is fairly tight.
Anyway, POST-FLOP
Here my hands are valued by what I have flopped.
13- Nuts
11- Any set/flush/straight
9- Any two pair/ 17-21 perceived outs
7- Top pair/ overpair/ 13-16 perceived outs
5- Middle pair/ flush draw
3- Bottom pair/ OESD
1- ace high/ gutshot/ backdoor flush draw/ 2 overcards
-1- nada
I again add the D12 result, and get a number between 0 and 25. Then I act according to this:
check/fold 0-9
check/call small/CB 10-12
raise/call medium 13-15
re-raise 16-18
3 bet/all in 19+
This means I can presumably slow-play big hands, and also call or raise on the flop with nothing. I have no strategy for the turn or river so will play them in the most commonsensical fashion I can think of.

Nah it was a bit rubbish really. In the first few minutes I rolled a 12 and was dealt KJs which meant I had to raise and 3-bet, which I did, runner-runnering trustme's AA with a flush. Most of the time the strategy just made me play flops with rubbish hands, and never hitting anything. I was hoping to get a premium and limp with it at some point but I never even saw any PPs and my best ace was A9 which I folded pre-flop.
I might try a similar strategy at my next LPL game, as at the start of tonight's game I was wasting a lot of time working out what to do, and there's more time live. Also people will be able to see what I'm rolling, and even if I make some elaborate code whereby 1=7, 2=4, 3=11, etc... it wouldn't be too hard to work out what they meant. I think a better strategy might just be to play normally but pretend to be using the dice. I did this once, limp/calling all in with AA, in a live game, but you have to do lots of prep work in order to set up traps like that.
