I agree. The Oak was a good game and was my local. I am now on my travels everytime I want to play.
However, I feel the lack of SW manchester venues is not down to Dave but rather a reluctance from pubs to put the nights on. I think Dave has done a fantastic job expanding the league. I would be interested to know how many pubs have said "no" for every one that has agreed to run a game. Getting venues near the Oak is easier said than done and I wouldn't be surprised if its already been investigated.
Maybe you boys know a landlord at a venue yourself that is interested and you could pass this on to Dave.
