The new system worked very well Mike. Although people were complaining last night about some of the new levels lol...
"1500/3000 Blinds, what the hell! Its eating my stack, we want the old system back..."
So to shut them the hell up I said,
"you want the old system? Fine, blinds are now 5000/10000"
That worked.
(of course I didnt actually revert to the old system, I was just pointing out the difference, being 10.30 the game was usually done by then in the Royal Oak. Theyre not used to it lasting until 10.50! After losing 8 players on the first few hands (lol) it looked like the game would be done early, but the smoother blind levels allowed for more play and it didnt blind people out so quickly.)
I havent heard a single complaint about a large hike up from 200/400 to 500/1000 or similar like I used to hear just about every night. I know its only early days, but it does seem to work better on first impressions.
