I was thinking about the "cards up" thing, and have come to this conclusion...
When I am watching someone umming and ahhing about whether to call an all in, I ALWAYS want to know what they have. Not to get an insight into their game, but because I'm so used to watching it on TV, where you see the mucked hands. With that in mind, I will turn my cards (ONLY if it doesn't affect the hand), because I'm sure others have that same curiosity.
It's TVs fault.
