Had an idea for the bonus points scoring system, not sure if this'd be esay to implement but thought i'd throw it out there. in my mind it would neutralise the smaller field/bigger field argument...

It works like this:

How many people you out-lasted / Entrants of MTT x 50 x y (y = number of tables at start of game)

So…
40 people if you win you get 39/40 x 50 x 5 = 243.75 (843.75 total)
24 people 23/24 x100 x 3 = 143.75 (743.75 total)
10 people 9/10 x 100 x 1 = 45 (645 total)

if it were a flat 10 bonus points per player figures for the same fields would be
