I WAS THERE! I finished 11th (second time I’ve missed the money by a single chair)
I was short stacked and trying to wait out 2 other players who were similarly low. I picked up pocket kings off the blind and my all in raise was called by a Chinese guy called Peter (good player who’s there every week). He turns over AKos then hits his ace straight off the flop.
I was gutted. There was no chance of a straight or a flush and with there was only one king left, which I didn’t hit.

I don’t think KT is strong enough to slow play with flat call, hoping for an overcall.
I think you played it fine and got a bad beat. Your raise knocked out the lesser hand that could have outdrawn you and you got a full call from an underdog.
